Green Initiatives

TD CENTRE'S GREEN AT WORK™ PROGRAM:

TD Centre has long taken a leadership role within Cadillac Fairview with respect to adopting new, cutting-edge green policies. We are now proud to be part of the Cadillac Fairview's national GREEN AT WORK™ strategy, which sets operational benchmarks for all Cadillac Fairview properties to reduce energy consumption and waste, improve environmental protection and build on the tenant communication programs already in place.

Our GREEN AT WORK™ strategy will focus our efforts at TD Centre on five environmental pillars:

Energy - A key focus will be on Energy Conservation and Efficiency and the incorporation of renewable energy sources, with a long term goal of net-zero emissions from buildings.

Waste Management - Our strategy is to generate zero waste by implementing a consistent and dedicated approach to waste diversion and waste minimization.

Environmental Protection - Our goal is to eliminate adverse impacts at our properties wherever our activities, products and services interact with the environment, while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.

Sustainable Procurement - Wherever possible, we will utilize environmentally-friendly products, services and best management practices at all properties.

Communication - Our Green Communication Plan will inform, educate, and share information and updates on CF’s ongoing green initiatives with our employees and tenants.

GREEN AT WORK™ supports Cadillac Fairview’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility with the belief that by working with our tenants, employees, suppliers and customers we are “building sustainability together™”.
